Smoked Manhattan

In honor of National Bourbon Day and Father’s Day, we made a Smoked Manhattan for the bourbon-lovin’ dads (and everyone else!). The key to this special twist is a touch of Smoked Balsamic in the drink and brushed on the rim. The result? A classic with a touch of sweetness, just like dad. Cheers!


2 Ounces of Bourbon
3/4 Ounce of good Italian Sweet Vermouth
1 Tbsp Olive Tree Smoked Balsamic Vinegar
2 dashes of Whiskey Barrel-Aged Bitters


Add the bourbon, vermouth, balsamic vinegar (reserve a small amount), and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled.

Garnish with a cocktail cherry.

Brush the rim with the remaining Smoked Balsamic Vinegar.
