Only five ingredients total but the two stars that really made this fall fruit salad shine were in the vinaigrette. We used our Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar and Blood Orange Olive Oil whisked together to drizzle over pears, apples and red grapes.
5-Ingredient Fall Fruit Salad
2 medium Bartlett pears (or other ripe but firm pears, diced)
2 medium apples (a fresh, crisp variety like honeycrisp, cripps, or pink lady is best, diced)
1 cup red grapes (halved)
2 Tbsp. Olive Tree Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Olive Tree Blood Orange Olive Oil
Optional: Sugar and Kosher Salt to taste
Combine all items and stir!
- Don’t slice apples and pears until assembling salad, close to time of serving. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over them if you want in order to keep their color.
- Don’t dress until you are serving or provide the vinaigrette on the side so leftovers aren’t ruined.
- Double the vinaigrette to use for a future spinach salad!
