Easy Instant Pot Dinners in Minutes with The Electrified Cooks
October 4, 2018
6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Instant Pots are all the craze and yet using them creates so many questions. Roxanne Wyss and Kathy Moore, The Electrified Cooks®, are the authors of the newly released American Heart Association cookbook, Instant and Healthy, 100 Low Fuss, High Flavor Recipes for your Pressure Cooker, Multi-cooker and Instant Pot, so they are experts on this wonderful, yet sometimes puzzling appliance. They will answer your questions about the brands, settings and functions so you are empowered to easily cook wonderful family meals. They will share all of the tips they discovered when researching their new cookbook and will discuss the benefits of this versatile, yet perplexing appliance—whether you have an Instant Pot brand or one of the many other brands of multi cookers or electric pressure cookers and whether you are cooking heart healthy recipes or these new delicious family favorites (the recipes in this class are not necessarily heart healthy but we will share heart healthy tips along with traditional cooking tips.) The class will begin with Deviled Eggs, as they share the secret to the quickest, easiest way to hard cook eggs, then you will find out how easy it is to prepare Classic Hummus, that delicious Middle Eastern spread made from dried chickpeas. Your family will crave the World’s Best Creamy Mac and Cheese. Soup from a pressure cooker is unbeatable and you will love Pasta E Fagioli soup. Chicken tacos will be your answer to a fantastic family meal. For dessert, enjoy a rich and tasty Bundt cake from another new cookbook by these authors, Delicious Bundt Cakes (OK, its not from a pressure cooker, but oh, so good and easy.)
