We are very excited to be able to offer Olio Nuevo this year. This "new oil" was just pressed and only available for a limited time. The Olio Nuevo is a blend of Manzanillo and Sevilliano olives. The olives are literally milled within hours of harvesting to ensure the highest level of freshness and quality. Bottling takes place that day, capturing the rich and fresh flavors of the olive oil. If you were lucky enough to get a bottle of the oil last year, you will remember it looked cloudy. That’s normal for fresh, unsettled olive oil. The flavor of the oil is strong, with a bit of a peppery flavor note.
Bloom Baking Company
One last call for Bloom Baking Company's scrumptious dinner rolls. We will be taking orders for the rolls until November 20th. Orders will be available to pick up on November 21st after 11:00 a.m. Please call the store at (913) 338-2700 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your reservation.
We will be open between Thanksgiving and Christmas on Sundays. Our hours will be 12 - 5 p.m.
On Sunday, December 2nd, I will be participating at Jill VanLerberg's Holiday Boutique. This event is at her home from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Her address is 20511 Pflumm Road, Bucyrus, KS. 66013. (Take Hwy. 69 to 199th St. Exit-Turn right to Pflumm-Turn left on Pflumm-house is on the left.) She has gathered a wonderful assortment of vendors. If you want the chance to pick up some wonderful gifts, come out and say hi.
My dear friend, Ann Lund is hosting her Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 8th from 10 - 2 p.m. She will have numerous new gadgets and gift items in addition to delicious samples and recipe ideas.
